Shah Agriculture Information Library

Shah Krishi Tathya Pathagar (Shah Agriculture Information Library) in short SAIL is the first ever agricultural library started its journey at a remote corner of Bangladesh in April 18, 2008 at village named Kaligram of Naogaon district under Rajshahi Division. One of the major purposes of this agricultural library is to deliver the knowledge in several disciplines of agricultural education so that the farmers can stand on their feet for the purpose of food security and environment.

Shah Krishi Tathya Pathagar (Shah Agriculture Information Library) is dedicated to be the premier agricultural storehouse of knowledge and library of excellence in agricultural information for the farmers of local and national levels.

The mission of SAIL is to Provide agricultural information and educational services to the farmers under one umbrella with a view that the farmers may:

  • Sell ideas on agriculture
  • Grow more agricultural Products
  • Sustainable farming practices using organic and indigenous method.

Having the vision above, the main objective of SAIL is to provide a farmer basic information on agriculture skills, on both traditional and modern method so that the farmer can develop:

  • Agricultural education for the preparing to engage in production agriculture.
  • Advancement in an agricultural farming through a program of continuing education.
